F620 : TECHNOLOGY

Differential pressure decay leak measurement

By far the most popular technology, differential pressure decay uses a reference volume to test your part. This helps compensate for any ambient pressure or temperature variations as they occur on both parts simultaneously. Only a leak on the test part will be detected.

The second advantage of this method is that the accuracy does not drop with the test pressure as the transducer is measuring pressure differences between the two circuits, as opposed to the traditional pressure decay technology that measures pressure drops against the atmosphere.

Multiple test parameters and options

The equipment displays numerous ranges of test options and parameters in the desired units for the customer’s ease of use. This multi-functional leak testing device can conduct blockage tests, burst tests, sealed components tests, and others as per your application. The F620 also comes with an intuitive display, showing all the necessary information for operator ease of use.

Wide range of communication protocol

The device comes equipped with multiple ports assuring communication such as:

  1. Fieldbus: EtherCAT, Profibus, DeviceNet, Profinet, Ethernet/IP
  2. RS232: printer, Modbus RTU, Barcode reader
  3. USB: printer, Barcode reader

Highly configurable nature of the F620 device

The F620 is highly configurable to meet your test needs. F620 can be programmed to run 128 sequential tests conducting several different types of pressure/ vacuum tests once connected. The device can also be equipped with mechanical or electronic regulators ranging from vacuum to 20 bar.

The device comes equipped with the widest full-scale reading ranging from 20Pa* to 5000Pa, serving the needs of the Automotive, medical, packaging industry, and others ensuring the widest leak detection range so that it meets your needs.

* Maximum test pressure 3Bar

Direct measurement principle
The part under test 3 and the reference part 5 are filled to an identical pressure. A differential sensor 4 measures the pressure variation between the part under test  3 and the reference part 5. In some applications, the reference part can be replaced by a cap.

Desensitized test
This  mode  is  used  for  the  measurement  of  large  leaks,  when  the  reject  level  required  is above the full scale of the differential sensor.
The  test  pressure  is  applied  to  the  input  of  the  part  under  test  3.  The  measurement  is performed by the pressure sensor 2.

Other type of tests are available in option
